Sports update: India rises to highest football ranking since 2010

India's recent win against Puerto Rico has shown its results in the FIFA rankings as the Indian National Team has risen to its highest since 2010. India has jumped 11 spots as it now ranks 137. India were ranked 171 before Stephen Constantine took over. What would further improve their rankings would be if the team would play more international friendlies.

It is a good time for Indian Football as the popularity of the ISL is soaring; clubbed with Bengaluru FC scripting history and becoming the first Indian club to enter the finals of the AFC Cup, it all looks quite positive for the sport.
