Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju launches official theme song of Indian Olympic contingent

The song titled ‘Lakshya Tera Samne Hai’ has been composed by Playback Singer Mohit Chauhan of the famous 'Silk Route' band.

NEW DELHI:

Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju, on Thursday, launched the Indian official Olympic Theme Song, ahead of the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The song titled ‘Lakshya Tera Samne Hai’ has been composed by Playback Singer Mohit Chauhan of the famous 'Silk Route' band.

Rijiju took to Twitter to announce the 30 days countdown to the Tokyo Olympics and posted the teaser of the song.

"Enjoy the teaser of the invigorating Olympic Theme Song crafted for the Indian Olympic Contingent launched on #OlympicDay event marking 30 days countdown to #TokyoOlympic," Rijiju tweeted.


 

The launch event was organised by Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and was attended by IOA president Narinder Batra among others.

The Tokyo Olympics is slated to begin on July 23, and over 100 Indian athletes have qualified for the event so far.
