SPORTS | Assam’s Riyan Parag to be part of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup team

Guwahati Dec 5,2017: Assam cricketer Riyan Parag has been included in the 16-member Indian U-19 team for the next year's ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.
He got the call up following his impressive performances at the recent U19 Challenger Trophy and has been a consistent performer at the U-19 level.
In the tour of England in July this year, Riyan showcased his batting abilities by scoring three fifties in four innings in tough overcast English batting conditions. He scored a century for India Reds in the U-19 Challengers Trophy in Mumbai last week and will be eager to continue with his blistering form.
The team will be led by promising Mumbai batsman Prithvi Shaw, the BCCI informed.
