Sourav Ganguly hospitalised after mild cardiac arrest

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was admitted to a hospital on Saturday after a mild heart attack.

According to sources, the 48-year-old former Indian captain complained of chest pain following a workout session on Friday evening. Family members later took him to the hospital when the problem recurred again on Saturday morning.

Ganguly was initially admitted to the emergency ward and given preliminary treatment, after which they put him through investigations and tests.

Meanwhile, hospital sources informed that his condition is stable at the moment, and he is out of “any immediate danger”, and likely to be released soon.
