Shillong Cricket Association begins players registration process for new season
Team and player registration will be accepted only after it is duly filled and has to be submitted on the specified dates mentioned. The forms will be available from the SCA office and various other partner sites. The forms can also be downloaded online, the SCA said.

Shillong Cricket Association (SCA) announced the start of the new cricket season with the registration process for players on November 25.
The SCA, in a press release, stated that registration forms will be issued from November 25, inter-club transfers will be done between November 26 and 27 from 3 pm to 6 pm. Withdrawal of transfer will be done on November 27 from 6 pm to 7 pm. Club and players registration will be allowed on December 11, from 11 am to 6 pm.
The letter further mentioned that transfer of players will be allowed only with the physical presence of the concerned player at the SCA office. Any player who is travelling with the team and is seeking a transfer has to write an application and WhatsApp the same to the chairman/ Convener Tournament Committee and the same has to be verified and processed officially.

Further, photo ID of every player stating that he/she is a bonafide citizen of Shillong is mandatory. Only photos are required for new registration and player transfer.
All teams can register a maximum of one outstation player in their team list and the registration amount for the same would be Rs 5000. The outstation players will not be considered in Meghalaya Team as local players and they cannot claim for the same.
Moreover, this is the last season for the clubs to field guest players, as from subsequent seasons no guest players will be allowed. Any player/club from another district seeking to play in the Shillong League will be allowed on the condition that they have to represent Shillong district in any district tournaments and any other districts.

Club Registration – Rs 2500 (Super/1st Division)
Club Registration – Rs 2000 (2nd Division)
Club Registration – Rs 2000 (3rd Division)
Affiliation Fee – Rs 3000 (For new club)
Player Registration – Rs 50
Player Transfer – Rs 1000
Late Registration – Rs 1000
Protest Fees- Rs 3000 (Within 24 hours)
