Cristiano Ronaldo wishes NEUFC ahead of ISL Match

Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday wished Northeast United FC "all the best" in front of the side's first home match of the season.

The Portuguese player was captured holding a Real Madrid jersey with a marked message, which was posted on twitter by the club's official handle.

NEUFC make it two in two as they beat FC Goa 2-0 in the Indian Super League 2016 contest in Guwahati on Tuesday. Emiliano Alfaro scored both the goals for the hosts as they completely outplayed a depleted Goa unit. Goa were undone by some poor effort by their goalie who made some costly errors. Northeast United had opened their account with a 1-0 win against Kerala Blasters on the opening day of the third edition of the competition.
