Nagaland karate team wins 9 medals at the 12th Shotokan National Karate Championship

DIMAPUR, May 1, 2018: Longdrum School Karate Dojo Club, Sangtamtilla won nine medals in the 12th Shotokan National Karate Championship which was held on April 26 and concluded on April 28 in Assam. The team was lead by Yatetla as team manager and Thsathriba Sangtam as team coach.
Tiabenla Jamir won gold in sparring. The silver medal winners are Astharani (Kata), Tiakumba (sparring), Akumienla L. Imchen (sparring) and Lithsamong Sangtam (sparring).
Team members Pukuto (sparring), Hekato Kiba (sparring), Tiabenla Jamir (kata) and Akumienla L. Imchen (kata)., on the other hand, won bronze medals at the championship.
