Meghalaya to participate in 44th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship

Shillong Oct 4,2017: Meghalaya sub-junior basketball team will be participating at the 44th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship at to be held at Didwana (Rajasthan) from 8 ^th to 14 ^th October 2017.

The players were shortlisted from the recent coaching camp that was held on 19 ^th September-4 ^th October 2017. The team will be led by Bhabok L Nonglait as Manager/Head Coach and  M.Colin Kharkongor as Assistant Coach.

The players are included in the state team are Damanshai Star Rani, Sebastian W.K. Swer, Nick Nathaniel Thabah, Ronan Vicario Hynniewta, Bashemphang Kharnanaior, Derex A. Warlarpih, Jeffery Syiem, Steven G. Mawlieh, Lalngaisanga Thianglai andLawrence L.Ralte

Teams from more than 25 states and union territories are expected to compete at the event which is being organised by Basketball Federation of India (BFI) in association with Rajasthan Basketball Association.
