Meghalaya: RWFC youngster to train with Bundesliga Club for 6 years

SHILLONG: Badonlang Rapsang an RWFC youth academy product hailing from Mawlien, Mawphan Ri Bhoi District will undergo training for six years at TSG Hoffenheim's youth academy.
Badon a student of MeECL Secondary School, Ri Bhoi came to light when he represented his school in the Under 14 Subroto cup tournament. He was then spotted and made to join Royal Wahingdoh FC in 2015.
The selection trial camp was organised at Polo ground, Shillong by Tata Trust in association with TSG Hoffenheim under a football development programme aimed at unearthing young budding talents in the football world.
"After completing my six years of training at FC Hoffenheim in Germany, I would like to return back to India and play for Royal Wahingdoh FC. My dream is to become a professional footballer and to play at highest level," said Badonlang Rapsang.
"I would like to thank my parents for being so supportive, MEECl Secondary school, Rangbah Shnong of Mawlien Mawphan, Ri Bhoi and Royal Wahingdoh FC for developing me as a player I am today."
