Meghalaya: MC Mary Kom awarded Honoris Causa Degree by NEHU

SHILLONG:  MC Mary Kom, Olympic Medalist, member of Parliament and five time world boxing champion was awarded the Honoris Causa Degree by North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya.

The Meghalaya Boxing Assoiation & Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs welcomed MC Mary Kom on September 5 on her way to North Eastern Hill University, (NEHU), Shillong where she was conferred with the Honoris Causa Degree at Sept 6 at 2 pm.

It is for the first time an Olympian Boxer has confered by an Honoris Causa Degree by a University.
