Meghalaya lad wins Gold at World Martial Arts Council Games 2016!

Khrawbok Marweiñ of Mawlai Iewrynghep won gold medal at World Championship of World Martial Arts Council Games 2016 today in Delhi at Jamia Milia Islamia University Sports Complex. He wins against his final opponent from Iran.

6 martial arts athletes from Meghalaya represented India. One from Garo Hills, 2 from Mawlai Iewrynghep and 3 from Ri Bhoi.

Khrawbok Marweiñ after 6 bouts won a gold medal in the weight category Senior Men of -51 – 55 kgs of Low Kick of Kickboxing.

First with martial arts athlete of Nepal, second with that from Korea, third with Afghanistan, fourth with Turkey, fifth with that from Kazakhistan and final sixth bout with martial arts athlete of Iran.
The rest 5 from Meghalaya are expected to play their bouts tomorrow.
