Meghalaya: Athletes from Garo Hills bag 11 gold in Taekwondo Championships

SHILLONG: Martial Arts is gaining popularity in the Northeast and this is evident in the number of medals that athletes from the region bag at different events.
Athletes from Garo Hills won 11 gold in the recently held Meghalaya Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championships and the Poomsae Championships which concluded in Shillong.
The athletes will now go on to compete in the National Championships which will be held in Kohima.
