Meghalaya athletes bring back gold from National All Martial Arts Games

The 4^th National All Martial Arts Games was recently held in Guwahati which was organised by the Self Defence Association of Assam. Pynnehbor Mylliemngap, Lamphrang Sahnoh and Romeo Songthiang all won gold in various categories, whereas Francis Songthiang , Borsing Myrsing won silver. Bishar Suchiang won the bronze and Espiranza Songthiang won silver in the sub-junior girls' category.

There has been a rise in popularity in martial arts in the Northeast region and most of the athletes who have brought pride to the state of Meghalaya have also done so in previous national events.
