Meet Lalit Portel from Sikkim, a 1st position holder for India in the Taekwondo International championship

GANGTOK: Sikkim young Taekwondo master brought laurels to the country and the state of Sikkim by bagging the silver and bronze medal and secured 1st position for India  in the 6th Tirak Taekwondo International championship, which concluded on October 23 at Thailand. 

With the latest achievement, Sikkim's master Lalit Portel is now selected for the next tournament in Korea.

Lalit Portel (23) is from Rey Khola, Gangtok, East Sikkim.

He had even won the gold medal in the recently held International Taekwondo Championship 2016 at Thimpu, Bhutan in the month of may.
