Manipur’s youths engage in boxing as a way out of obscurity


IMPHAL: Insurgency has created many problems in the north-eastern state of Manipur. Manipur has many talented athletes, but sports remains underdeveloped. Boxing is one way out of obscurity as the youths look up to Mary Kom, Devendro Singh and Dingko Singh.

The BBC's Neha Sharma met some budding boxers to learn more about the challenges they face, and their ambitions for the future.
