Manipur got better off Meghalaya women as the latter lost 0-4 to Manipur in the women's National Football Championship opener on November 28 at Kuthuparamba, Kerala.

For Manipur, who are coached by the renowned Bembem Devi, Yangoijam Kiranbala Chanu, made it 3-0 just under 10 minutes into the second half, and Thingbaijam Babysana Devi added the fourth in the 81st minute.
Meghalaya will meet Daman & Diu in their next encounter on November 30.
