ISL:NEUFC finish fifth, wishes fans goodbye for the season

SHILLONG, 7 Dec:  After missing a spot in the play-offs by losing to Kerala by 1-0, NEUFC bids goodbye to its fans thanking them for their support throught the season.The first half of the match saw both teams push forward with NEUFC pushing harder in attack but both sides have had no clear cut chances.Kerala finally breaks the deadlock with a goal in the 65th minute with a goal from CK Vineeth.Northeast tried to come back into the game but the  Kerala defence stood strong.Kerala go through to the semi finals while Northeast are out yet again as they finish 5th.
