ISL: NEUFC give away a win as ATK score in the 90th minute

The match is underway and NEUFC take no time as they score in the 5th minute. Nico Velez scores as ATK blunder in the back. This has been a decent start for the Northeast side who have had a bad run of late.

The game in the first half is more or less evenly match but Northeast goal keeps them ahead.

ATK has looked better going forward towards the end of the first half but Northeast defence has stood strong with Subrata Paul also making decent saves.

ATK press from the get go of the second half and nervy moments for Northeast. NEUFC have however held back the hosts. Alfaro comes close to scoring another one for the visitors in the 70th minute but the ATK keeper makes the much needed save.

Northeast should have scored a couple more if not for some errors by Northeast players and proper defending by ATK.

Northeast concede a free kick in the final minute which finds Ian Hume who scores and equalizes.

The match is a disappointment for Northeast fans who were hoping for that they would collect all 3 points, they have to however settle for a point.
