ISL: Chennaiyin and Athletico de Kolkata draw in thrilling match
The second match of the Indian Super League saw first season's Athletico de Kolkata and last season's Champions Chennaiyin FC take on each other. The goal thriller saw 4 goals in all with two from each side. Both sides played entertaining attacking football and both sides had to settle for a draw at the end of it
Athletico's Hume, Doutie and Postiga looked sharp with young Doutie netting in the first goal of the match. However, Chennaiyin equalized soon enough with a shot from Jayesh Rane. Tiri then unfortunately helped the visitors with an own goal.
Chennaiyin coach Materazzi then subbed Mohanraj for young teenager from Mizoram Jerry Lalrinzuala who went on to concede a penalty in the 85th minute which was coolly converted by Hume.
