Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma urge people to get vaccinated
Virat Kohli shared a picture on his Instagram story of him getting vaccinated and requested the general public to get inoculated 'as soon as they can'.

Indian cricketers including Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma got their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday and urged the people of the country to come forward for the vaccination.
Virat Kohli shared a picture on his Instagram story of him getting vaccinated and requested the general public to get inoculated 'as soon as they can'.
Similarly, another Indian cricketer Ishant Sharma too took to social media and announced that he has got his first shot of the vaccine.
"Thankful for this and grateful for all the essential workers. Happy to see the smooth running of the facility & management. Let’s all get vaccinated at the earliest," Sharma tweeted.
In a similar post, Kohli hailed the frontline workers and said, "I have nothing but gratitude for all the healthcare & frontline workers, I am in awe of their spirit and dedication. I also want to thank all the people who came forward in such difficult times & helped each other. India is grateful to have heroes like you."
Earlier last week, other prominent cricketers such as Shikar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav and Ajinkya Rahane too had taken their first dose of the vaccine.
