India vs New Zealand WTC Final: Day four washed off due to rain

The Day 4 of the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand was abandoned due to rain on Monday.

The day was called off without a bowl being bowled, as the downpour continued throughout the day leaving the fans disappointed.

"Play on Day 4 abandoned due to rain. We thank our fans who turned up and kept the tempo high. See you again, tomorrow," the BCCI tweeted.

The ongoing final which has been interrupted due to the bad weather conditions saw India being bowled out for 217 on Day 3.

In reply, the New Zealand team were standing at 101/2, at the close of the play on the third evening, with Kane Williamson (12) and Ross Taylor (0) at the crease.

India got two wickets of Tom Latham (30) and Devon Conway (54) as the New Zealand team trail by 116 runs.
