Former Indian spinner to coach Assam

GUWAHATI: Assam has brought in former Indian spinner Sunil Joshi as the chief coach for the Assam Ranji Trophy Team. He will be at the helm for the next two seasons. He will be replacing outgoing coach Sanath Kumar.

The former Karnataka player has in the past coached Jammu and Kashmir and also Hyderabad.

Assam has proved it's potential last season as they reached the semi-finals. The team has a great bowling squad and Joshi wants to improve the batting aspect of the team's game.
