Football: Shillong Lajong held by Oil India in Bordoloi Cup

GUWAHATI: The Bordoloi Cup is underway and favourites Shillong Lajong were held to a 1-1 draw by Oil India. Oil India scored early in the 13^th minute while Shillong Lajong took time to find their rhythm. However, in the second half, Lajong came back more determined. They had many clear chances but lacked finishing. Lajong kept pushing and in the 79^th minute, they found the back of the net with a shot from Issac. The Shillong side will meet Nagaland's Flamingo FC on Thursday.

This is the 64^th edition of the tournament which is being held in Guwahati, Assam and has teams from India, Bangladesh and Nepal competing in it.
