Football: NEUFC start pre-season with a loss in Dubai

The Highlanders have started their pre-season campaign with a loss. They went 2-1 down to Emirates club, a club in the United Arab Emirates club. Fans have been hoping that this will be the year NEUFC make their mark in the ISL, however the pre season match has left disappointment.

However, there is still much to be optimistic about as there was a lot of attacking play from the visiting side which proved very entertaining. Nelo Vingada pitched a team mainly made up of foreign players with as many as 7 in the starting 11. However, he did bring in the Indian players in the second half. NEUFC have many talented Indian players with Seityasen Singh and Sumeet Passi in the team.
