Football: NEUFC goalie receives prestigious Arjuna award

North East United FC's goalie Subrata Paul has received the prestigious Arjuna award for his immense contribution in the field of sport. He is only the second goalkeeper to do so after Brahmanand Shankhwalker. Altogether, there have been only 24 footballers in the country to receive the award.

The goalie nicknamed the Spider will be donning the red and white jersey in the upcoming season of the Indian Super League as he joins the Highlanders for the much anticipated sporting event. The team are currently on their way for their pre season tour in Dubai.
