Football: India U-16 side beats German side 2-1

In a thrilling show of how far Indian football has come, the U-16 Indian side beat German U-16 side TSG Hoffenheim 2-1. On Thursday, the Indian side thrashed U-18 German side Saarlandauswahl  with a stunning 5-0 victory.

The team is on a European tour and is training with coach Nicolai Adam who is getting them ready for the U-17 FIFA World Cup.
India will host the FIFA U-17 World Cup next year and with the team showing how good it is, it is hopeful that Indian football fans will have a great team support in next year's much anticipated tournament.
