Football: Eugeneson scores as Bengaluru FC hold Malaysian side in AFC semi finals

 |

Defending AFC Cup Champions Johor Darul Ta'zim were held to a draw on Wednesday's semi final match against current I-League champions Bengaluru FC. The brilliant left footed strike by Shillong born Eugeneson Lyngdoh in the 57th minute secured the Indian side a draw who were behind after a goal from the Malaysian side in the 53rd minute.

This gives the Indian side advantage with an away goal as the next leg is the home match which will take place on October 19. If Bengaluru FC are successful in their campaign, they would be the first Indian team to ever reach the finals of the AFC Cup.
