Football: BRICS U-17 tournament begins today

The BRICS U-17 begins today with India hosting the tournament in Goa. As the name suggests the BRICS nations will be taking part in it- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The tournament will be held at the Bambolim Stadium and the final which is scheduled for October 15 will be held at Fatorda Stadium.
The opening match will see China take on Brazil at 4 pm while hosts India take on Russia at 8 pm tonight. This is the same Indian side that lost out early in the AFC U-16 which was recently also held in Goa. The Indian team will hope for a better showing this time around.
