Football: Bengaluru FC make history in AFC Cup

Bengaluru FC continued to make history as they become ony the third Indian side to book a semi-final berth in the AFC Cup. They beat Tampines Rovers 1-0 in the first leg. The second leg saw the club playing more defensively with their defenders doing what they do best. The reverse fixture ended in a 0-0 draw which now sees BFC move on to the semi-finals.

The club will now face Malaysian side Johor Darul Ta'zim who are the defending champions. Both clubs have faced each other in the group stages where BFC lost both the home and away fixtures. With BFC now moving on in the tournament, the players who are slated to play in the ISL will miss part of the upcoming season.
