ATK player pips Mizoram footballers as shining light in football

Lalrindika Ralte who has been sensational to watch in this season of the ISL has stated that the number of footballers from Mizoram will only increase. It has been encouraging to see so many footballers from the Northeast play in the ISL with a chunk of them from the same Northeastern state. With players such as Jeje Lalpekhlua and Lalchhuanmawia  who have cemented their names in Indian football to young upcoming players such as Jerry Lalrinzuala and Daniel Lalhlimpuia, the future of Indian football looks promising.

Both Jerry and Daniel received praises from their Coach, Marco Materrazi at Chenniyin. Jerry has especially become a household name and is rumoured to be courted by a number of I-League clubs.
