Assam’s Shiva Thapa in top 10 list of AIBA rankings

GUWAHATI: The latest Association Internationale de Boxe Amateur (AIBA) rankings are out and Olympian Shiva Thapa from Assam has come in 7th in the list.

Another Northeast boxer made the list as L Devendro from Manipur ranked 27th in the light flyweight category.

Amongst the men, Vikas Krishan was ranked highest amongst all Indian boxers with a ranking of 4th. Vikas was adjudged the AIBA Pro Boxing Best Boxer of the Year.

In the women's category, Saweety Boora from Harayana ranked was ranked second.
