Tripura: Health sub-centre remains closed consecutively for seven months

TRIPURA, December 21, 2017: A health Sub-centre in Shikaribari area, Ambassa sub-division of Dhalai district has remained closed for the last seven months causing inconvenience to the local people due to land dispute.

As per sources, Shikaribari health sub-centre which remained closed for seven months was inaugurated in the year 2010 but has remained non functional for many months.

Reports stated that the health sub-centre was built on the land of one Faidu Reang on the condition of the job of his son who alleged that, "In last seven years, the authority failed to keep the promise, I waited for it".
