Tripura’s Education Deptt. to appoint new teachers


AGARTALA | JUNE 09, 2020:

Tripura's Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Monday informed that the Education Department will appoint 175 graduate and 65 post graduate teachers.

Addressing the media at the Civil Secretariat on Monday, the minister stated that a formal requisition has been forwarded to the TRBT requesting it to initiate the recruitment process through separate selection tests.

Nath said that a total 42 under graduate along with 15 graduate teachers will be appointed for the elementary level very soon and added that the candidates will not be required to sit for any test as they are already TET qualified aspirants.

He also informed that the state government will make an attempt to fill the posts of 40 assistant professors in degree colleges across the state and that the appointment process will be undertaken by the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
