Tripura: Board to reschedule one Class 12 paper for by-election
AGARTALA, February 21, 2018: One paper of Class 12 board exams conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) would be rescheduled for a by-poll on that day.
The by-poll to Charilam seat was declared due to death of a CPM nominee Ramendra Debbarma before the Assembly polls. Debbarma was also the sitting MLA of the constituency.
The Board previously rescheduled the first exam of Class 12 on March 8 instead of March 5 for the Assembly polls. Election process would be over on March 5.
The Class 10 examinations would start from March 6 and there will be no change in this case.
"Many students of that constituency might be voters and also they might face vehicle crisis on that day. Fresh date for a paper of Class 12 would be announced soon," said TBSE president Mihir Kanti Deb.
The students are about to appear for Mathematics and Philosophy papers on that day.
