Tripura board exams for Classes X, XII to begin in May

AGARTALA: The Secondary and Higher secondary examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will start on May 10 this year.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, both secondary and higher secondary examinations have been deferred this year.

Professor Bhabotosh Saha said, “If all goes well, the exam will start on May 10 and would continue till June 7.”

“The secondary written exam would be for 80 marks, and 20 marks will be based on internal evaluation. The pass mark in the new syllabus will be 33 instead of 30. For the class 12 theory examinations it will be for 70 marks while the rest 30 marks would be included of the 20 marks from actual experiment/projects, 5 marks each from the practical notebook and pre-board examinations.” said Saha.
