GUWAHATI | SEPT 06, 2020:

The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has decided to postpone the matriculation examination for a month for this academic year.

"Usually the matriculation examination is held in February but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it will be held in March," Controller of SEBA Nayan Jyoti Sarma said.

Sarma said that the decision was taken so that students and teachers get sufficient time to complete the courses in schools.

He said that steps are being taken to resume classes from October 1 for class 8 to 12 students.
