Nagaland: NITTE Mangalore offers 2 seats in each course for students from the state

KOHIMA, May 24, 2018: At the initiative of the Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya, NITTE University, Mangalore has announced two seats each in various courses starting from the academic year 2018-19 so as to provide opportunities to the students from Nagaland.

The university will exempt tuition fees in full for the courses. The students will have to pay for the exam fee. The hostel deposit has also been waived but room rent and mess charges are payable which works to Rs. 76000 per year.

The university will be offering the following courses to the students: Master of Public health (MPH), B. Sc Nursing, M Sc Nursing, M Pharm, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Master of Physiotherapy, B. Sc (Bio Medical Science), M Sc (Bio Medical Science), MA (Mass Communication & Journalism), BA (Mass Communication & Journalism), and Master of Pharmacy.

The PRO informed that the recommended students will be admitted to the courses on merit basis subject to the fulfillment of the admission criteria specified by the NITTE University.

Interested students can submit application stating the course he/she wants to apply for along with a copy of their mark sheets and Indigenous Inhabitant of Nagaland Certificate to the Raj Bhavan, Kohima on or before June 15.

The Governor has also constituted a committee to select the students based on merit. The applications can be mailed to secy.rajbhavannagaland@gmail.com.
