Meghalaya: NEHUSU calls for cancellation of final examination

SHILLONG | JULY 30, 2020:
The North-Eastern Hill University Students Union (NEHUSU) has called for the cancellation of final examinations on Wednesday.
NEHUSU has also urged the University to assess the marks on past performance instead of holding online examinations.
NEHUSU said that online classes have not helped the students much in coping with the syllabus and NEHU should not accept the dictates of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The NEHUSU urged the university to explore ways with the stakeholders to resolve the issue taking into account the safety of the student.
