Meghalaya: East Garo Hills shine in CBSE exams

A majority of students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), East Garo Hills, passed with flying colours as the Central Board of School Examination recently declared the results for Class XII and Class X, thereby bringing laurels to the district as well as the state of Meghalaya.

According to a delayed report issued by the Principal of Williamnagar JNV, KK Mishra, the toppers in Class XII Science were Anthony N Sangma (89.4%), Floryza R Marak (88.2%) and Amul Pandey (87.4%). In Class XII Humanities, Jakgrime K Momin secured 92.4%, Salnia Ch Marak 91.8% and Agisil Nangrime N Marak 90.6% respectively.

In the Class X CBSE examinations, Tina Rabha secured 83.8%, Silgrak Amrick G Momin 82.8% and Salgra Ch Marak 80.4% respectively.
