Manipur: State boy secures second position in Uttarkhand CBSE examination

THOUBAL, May 27, 2018: A boy hailing from Manipur has secured the overall second position for Uttarkhand state in the class XII board examination conducted by CBSE, the results of which were declared on Saturday.

Panthoiba Akoijam from Thoubal Melaground, who is a student of Parvati Prema J.S Vihar Veerbhat School located at Nainital, Uttarkhand, came second for Uttarkhand sate. He is the son of Panes, a farmer and his mother, Subadani is a housewife.

As per Panthoiba's mark sheet, he secured 97 in English, 95 in Physics, 95 in Chemistry, 98 in Maths and 99 in Physical Education. Panthoiba who wants to become an IAS officer in the future, has given the credit for his success to his parents, and the principal and teachers of the school.
