GUWAHATI, May 24, 2018: On Wednesday, Board of Secondary Education, Assam (Seba) launched an integrated online system to address various issues related to the matric examination.

The system will help students fill up exam application forms online and make it easier to get certificates.

Seba chairperson R.C. Jain said, "The system includes online application for correction of registration card, admit card, marksheet, pass certificate and migration certificate and duplicate documents along with applying for re-checking of answer scripts and photocopies of answer scripts for HSLC and High Madrassa examination. It also includes online application for appearing in the compartmental exam."

"We will soon include a book in modern Indian language course about the great personalities of Assam from different communities. The book can be used as rapid reader. A chapter on problems like sexual abuse, witch-hunting and misuse of the Internet will also be included in the course. We have assigned some competent people to write on those topics," Jain said.

Seba also introduced a mobile application for Seba results 2018, where students can receive their marks of HSLC and High Madrassa examination. The results for HSLC and madarsa exams will be declared on Friday.

Education minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya said, "The announcement of results is a festival day for the state. All people eagerly wait for it. So we should work together to make the online system error-free. Earlier, there were some human errors, so we are now turning to the digital platform." One can visit the Seba website to access the integrated online system. One can upload all necessary documents and track the progress of their application and can also pay the fees online.

The matric and high madarsa results will also be available on 12 websites and through text message.
