Girls outshine Boys in Mizoram HSSLC results

In the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) results that were declared yesterday, girls outperformed boys in the overall pass percentage.

While the girls pass percentage recorded was 79.14 percent against the boys 77.81 percent, which was a slight miss in the count.

The total number of students reported to have appeared the exams conducted between February and July were 12,324 students, and 9,677 students had cleared the examinations. Of the 9,677 passed students, 5,216 were girl candidates 4461 were boy candidates.

The schools that made to the top were Christina Lalchhandama of Greenland Higher Secondary School- Aizawl in Arts, Lalremsiama Darchhun of St Paul's Higher Secondary School Aizawl in Science and Lalhriatpuia Ralte of St Joseph Higher Secondary School Aizawl in Commerce.

The total cumulative pass percentage of Arts, Commerce, and Science for this year is 78.52 percent.
