Girls outshine boys as Assam declares HS results

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) declared the class 12 results of all three streams- Humanities, Science and Commerce on June 25th 2020.
The pass percentage for the Humanities stream is 78.28%, for Science is 88.06% and Commerce is 88.18%. Pubali Deka topped for Humanities with 96.2%, Abhinash Kalita topped for Science with 97.2% and Krishna Maheshwari topped for Commerce with 94.2%
For the Humanities, the pass percentage of girls was 93.85% while for boys it was 89.55%. For Science, the girls had a pass percentage of 94.33% and the boys 91.09% and the Commerce stream saw a pass percentage of 94.33% for the girls and 91.09% for the boys.
