CBSE Class X results; Girls outperform boys with 88.67%

NATIONAL | May 29, 2018:
CBSE results for Class X were announced at around 1:20 PM with 86.70 as the passing percentage.
The state with highest passing percentage is Thiruvananthapuram 99.60%, followed by Chennai (97.37%), and Ajmer (91.86%). Delhi has a pass percentage of 78.62%.
The total number of candidates who have secured more than 90% and above is 1,31,493. And 27,476 students have secured more than 95%. In this year CBSE examination the girls have performed better than boys by 3.35%. Girls have a pass percentage of 88.67% and boys 85.32%.

CBSE examination 2018 had around 16,24,682 students appeared for the examination out of which 14,08,594 passed.
