NEW DELHI | JUNE 25, 2020:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to give its final decision on the cancellation of the pending Board Exams 2020 today.

The hearing of the CBSE pending exams is scheduled today in the Supreme Court.

In view of COVID-19 nationwide lockdown, the CBSE had to put on hold the examination of some subjects.

With the rising number of coronavirus cases day by day, students and parents had appealed to the Supreme Court to cancel the pending exams for Class 10 and 12.

Delhi Education Minister said in a tweet "Not in favour of CBSE's plans to conduct examinations amidst this coronavirus crisis, it can put our students at risk. Have expressed my concerns in my letter to the Hon'ble Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal."
