CBSE 2018 results: Prakhar Mittal among Class X toppers

NATIONAL | May 29, 2018:

The anxiety among students finally got over after CBSE declared its results today at 1:20PM.

Around 16,24,682 students from different states appeared for the examination and out of which 14,08,594 passed. The passing percentage for this year is 86.70.

Four students topped this year's CBSE examination securing 499 out of 500 marks. The four toppers include Prakhar Mittal from DPS Gurgaon, Rimzhim Agarwal from RK Public school Bijnor, Nandini Garg from Scottish International school Shamli, and Sreelakshmi G from Bhavan Vidyalayas, Cochin.

A total number of 1,86,067 (i.e. 11.45 per cent) students have been placed in compartment list.
