‘Assam to witness biggest primary teachers’s transfer’-Himanta

GUWAHATI, February 22, 2018: Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam education minister said that the state government has decided to mutual transfer among the primary teachers on 22 January last and it has been completed.

Sarma said, "We have already released the transfer orders through online. It is the biggest teachers transfer in Assam".

Further, Assam education minister also said that a total of 10,794 teachers across the state had applied online for transfer and after completing all grievances the state education department had finalized 8550 eligible applications.

"Among them 3904 teachers have been transferred inter district and 4646 teachers transferred within the district," Sarma said.

The Assam minister said that, the state government also decided to conduct transfer process in the month of January every year.

Himanta Biswa Sarma further added that, the Gunotsav in high school level will be held in August-September this year.
