Assam Board exams 2020: SEBA declares class 10 results, check details

GUWAHATI | JUNE 6, 2020:

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has declared the HSLC result 2020, at 9.am on Saturday.

Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated the students, he tweeted, "Heartiest congratulations to Class X students on your results. Those who may not have done well, don't lose heart for success is the sum of small efforts. Special compliments to parents and teachers for your patience & hard work. Wish you all a glorious future ahead."

The Minister also congratulated Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita as he tops the HSLC 2020 examinations by scoring 595 out of 600 marks.

The total pass percentage was 64.80 per cent and among girls, the pass percentage was 62.91%, while the figure for boys was 66.93%.

95628 students have cleared the exam in the third division, followed by 77850 in second and 48278 students who cleared the exam in the first division.

The number of candidates absent from the HSLC exam is 6,513, while 22 students have been withheld and the number of candidates expelled from the exams is 161.

However re-checking of answer script will begin from June 8 to June 22. A fee of Rs 350 will be applicable.
