Assam: AHSEC declares Class 12 results, Commerce stream reports highest pass percentage

GUWAHATI | JUNE 25, 2020:
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, AHSEC has declared the results of the Class-12 examination on Thursday at around 9 am on its official website at ahsec.nic.in.
According to the Education Department, the Commerce stream has the highest pass percentage with 88.18 percent followed by Science with 88.06 percent while the Arts stream has the least percentage at 78.28 percent.
From the Science Stream, Abhinash Kalita from Science topped the exams with 486 marks securing 97.2 percent.
The SEBA Class 12th exam 2020 was conducted from February 12 to March 14 at 772 examination centers in the state where nearly 2.34 lakh students had appeared for the examination.
Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, congratulated the students after the declaration of Class 12 result on Twitter.
The Minister tweeted;
