Tripura :Mamata Bannerjee admits she is in talks with Barman,Targets Tripura

After her press conference Mamata Bannerjee has confirmed that she is in talks with the dissident group led by former CLP leader Sudip Roy Barman and is keen to target Tripura as their next bastion.

Sudip Roy Barman was suspended along with a host of other leaders from the party after protesting the alliance between Congress and CPI(M) in West Bengal.

This statement by Mamata after her immediate victory in West Bengal will be watched in the coming weeks as she has said clearly that Tripura will be the next battleground for her.

It maybe mentioned that Manik Sarkar the chief minister too was visibly unhappy with the alliance of Congress and the Left in West Bengal.

Mamata Bannerjee herself admitted that she had told leaders that the Barman group should wait till the results are over in West Bengal , now that she has won it may lead to a major political shake up in Tripura .
